What if I already have an account at a particular poker room?

If you have an existing account at a poker room you cannot create a rakeback account with OnlinePokerRakeback.com.  There are some exceptions to this rule, such as you have not played on your account for a long time and it is idle.  Email us for info if you would like to see if we can help you transfer your old account to a rakeback account.

When and how am I paid each month?

You can expect to receive your rakeback payment within 5 days after the end of each site’s month end reporting cycle.  Rakeback is paid thru Neteller or via player-to-player transfer thru the poker room you signed up at. The minimum monthly rakeback payment is $50. Amounts less than $50 are carried forward to the next month.

What if I refer another player to you and they signup under you?

If you refer another player to us and they sign up we will give you 1% of the rake they generate. When referring another player please have them mention that you referred them in the form used to request a rakeback account.

Why do I need to email you when I set up a new account?

The poker rooms we are affiliated to have different tracking systems.  We need to know who you have registered with and your new screen name. This allows us to track your account and calculate how much money you are owed. We also need you to send us an email so we can set up payment instructions for you.

What is rake?

This is the amount a poker room charges the players for playing at their site. In cash ring games the sites take a small portion of each pot that is over a certain amount, usually $5.00. This rake amount is always capped at a maximum of usually $3.00.

How does the site calculate my MGR?

"Monthly Gross Revenue" is calculated as the sum total of all players' contribution to all "rakes" the players were involved while playing at the website, less any credits, bonus or promotional amounts given to players, processing charges, or any un-collectable revenue attributable to the player.

Moreover, a player's contribution to the "rakes" shall be determined as the quotient obtained when dividing the actual amount of each rake to which the player had contributed divided by the total number of players at the table at the start of the hand. So, if the rake in a hand with ten players at the table is three dollars ($3.00), each player's contribution to the rake will be thirty cents ($0.30).

Do signup/reload bonuses affect my total rake paid (MGR)?

At Absolute Poker signup bonuses and reload bonuses DO NOT count against your MGR.

At Doyles Room signup bonuses and reload bonuses DO NOT count against your MGR.

Full Tilt Poker deducts bonus dollars from MGR.

At Ultimate Bet 25% of converted bonus dollars are charged against MGR, and unconverted bonus dollars are not charged at all.

Do Sit n Go and MTT fees count as MGR?

They do at all sites except Ultimate Bet.
